Making the most of Macro

Fri Nov 24, 2006, 2:13 AM
More than a year ago I did my first proper macro shot of a grasshopper in a Hydrangea (purple hopper). Since then I haven't even thought of taking any Macros.

Until we went on the Stellenbosch wine route and visited Rustenberg Wine Estate. They have the most amazing Garden which has some of the most beautiful flowers. The colours were unreal and so to enhance them even more I set the camera to vivid colour and what a difference that made. Instead of just taking a face on shot of the flower I tried to get more creative and include some depth to the shot.

I hope you like them.
